CRM – I implemented email marketing campaigns to retarget potential customers that did not convert. Segmented users by interest and engaged them with tailored drip email sequences, increasing conversion rates and improved ROI.

In addition I have also successfully ran link-building campaigns, securing backlinks from major publications like AskMenBBCBloomberg and more.

Building & Scaling an Online Platform

The Travel Deck (2019) – I built this website to get hand-on experience with Digital tools. With no prior experience, I built the site using WordPress, learned about SEO, optimized, drove substantial traffic and now the site drives revenue through affiliations with global brands such as Booking.com, Agoda, Viator and more.

Note: site traffic only began to pick up after 2022-2023, once travel restrictions were lifted.

🚀 Key Highlights:

Grew to 17K+ monthly visitors through organic search.

Developed an SEO-driven content strategy, improving rankings and engagement.

Monetized via affiliate partnerships, generating steady revenue.

Used Google Analytics, Search Console, and Ahrefs for ongoing optimization.


Proven SEO Impact: URL & Ranking Success

Cancun Mexico All Inclusive Resorts: This website was created to test the impact of URL structure on SEO rankings. Despite having only 7 articles, the site ranks highly for lucrative affiliate keywords, proving the significant impact of the domain name.

Note: the long name was chosen to test the impact of exact url keywords. The site is in no way optimized, only has a DA 1 score, but still drives traffic and affiliate sales.

🚀 Key Highlights:

Ranked for high-converting keywords like “Cancun resorts with butler service”.

Achieved strong rankings with just 7 articles.

Proved the SEO impact of a well-optimized URL structure on search visibility.


Overlooked Platforms for traffic growth

Beyond traditional social media like Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn, there are powerful alternative ways to drive highly targeted traffic.

I’ve seen firsthand how leveraging niche communities, content discovery platforms, and strategic SEO can attract engaged audiences. For example, using Reddit, I generated 10K page visits in three days, leading to top search rankings. Similarly, a Google Discover feature drove a surge in organic traffic and improved visibility.

Note: While social media does not directly impact SEO, it can indirectly influence rankings. Increased traffic and engagement from social media can lead to more backlinks, improved user signals, and greater visibility, all of which contribute to better search performance.

🚀 Key Highlights:

10K page visits in 3 days: Drove substantial traffic to a new site using Reddit.

Top 5 ranking: The surge in traffic led to a top-ranking position for a highly competitive keyword within days.

Featured on Google Discover: Generated 1K visits on day one, boosting visibility and securing a top search ranking the following week.

Professional Experience

I transitioned from hands-on project management to digital marketing by building and scaling my own websites. Over five years, I developed expertise in SEO, affiliate marketing, and content strategy—driving traffic and revenue through data-driven optimization.

SEO Specialist

( Present Role)

  • Run technical audits to fix 404 errors, 3xx redirects, and crawl issues.
  • Assess backlink opportunities by checking domain authority, traffic quality, and relevance.
  • Spot content gaps and keyword opportunities to outperform competitors.
  • Create content plans around keywords and semantics in various languages to build topical authority around our target topic + collaborating with native speaking copywriters for those keywords in languages I do not speak,
  • Monitoring competitors using tools including Ahrefs and Similarweb.
  • Report monthly on organic traffic shifts and highlight key drivers like events or trends.
  • Building a page on Reddit targeting our audience as B2B business.
  • Understanding the use of llms.txt and llms-full.txt to get featured as a source on LLM’s (chat-gpt, perpelexity, etc)
